The United Arab Emirates is a fairytale world where wonders happen under the bright desert sun. The weather, warm sea and sandy beaches are enjoyed all year round. The Gulf of Persia washes the shores of the United Arab Emirates in the north and the Gulf of Oman in the east. The United Arab Emirates are made up of seven emirates: Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Sharjah, Ajman, Umm Al Quwain, Ras Al Khaimah and Fujairah.
This is a land of records. The world's tallest building, the Burj Khalifa, the Ferris wheel Ferris Ain Dubai, the largest man-made island Palm Jumeirah, the world's largest shopping mall, Dubai Mall, and amusement parks beat children's rainbow dreams. Whisper just two names to your child - Ferrari World or Legoland - and they'll already be packing their bags for the trip.

When is best to go to Dubai

Dubai has no seasons. You can call them seasons, but if you live here for a full twelve-month cycle, you can definitely notice the weather changes.

Dubai has a very pronounced desert climate and is a very dry and hot city all year round. In summer (May-September) temperatures can regularly reach over 40°C, with the average daytime temperature exceeding 30.

Even in winter it is still pleasantly warm in the region, with lows around 15°C. During the day, the mercury in the thermometers climbs to 24 degrees even in the coldest month, January. Water temperatures vary throughout the year between 21-32 degrees, so you can swim comfortably 365 days a year.

And because you're probably wondering when it's best to go to Dubai, it's possible all year round, as there's no rainy season and no storms here, the only ones that can occur are sandstorms. However, especially in the summer, the UAE is so hot that it can be uncomfortable for some people. On the other hand, hotels offer huge discounts even during the holiday season because of the heatwave, which you may be delighted with if you love the heat.

However, experts say the winter and spring months are the best time to travel to Dubai. That's because between December and April, you'll find temperatures of 24-32°C, with 8 to 10 hours of sunshine and pleasantly cool nights. Note, however, that January is not exactly the best time for swimming.

Beaches

On the shores of the Persian Gulf, Dubai offers quality beaches with crystal clear, warm water and fine whitish sand. Water activities - scuba diving, surfing, wakeboarding, flyboarding or kayaking - are available. A holiday in Dubai is not complete without relaxing on its beautiful beaches. Dubai has plenty of beautiful beaches with fine white sand and crystal clear waters, where tourists are caressed by the blue-green waves of the Arabian Sea. This sea has a wonderful aquatic life with many species of fish and plants.

Tourism

Tourism in Dubai is part of Dubai government's strategy to keep foreign cash flowing into the emirate. In May 2013, the Dubai government launched the Dubai Tourism Strategy 2020, with the key goal of attracting 20 million visitors per year by 2020 and making Dubai a destination of choice for both international leisure and business travellers. In 2018, the strategy was expanded by setting new targets to attract 21-23 million visitors in 2022 and 23-25 million visitors by 2025.
