Program

Day 1: Departure from Chișinău

We meet at 23:30 at the Chișinău Circus, ready to embark on a fascinating journey to the Danube Delta, a unique corner of paradise in Europe. The road will take us through picturesque landscapes, and in the morning we will arrive at our first destination.

 

 

Day 2: Enisala Fortress & arrival in Tulcea

In the morning we explore Enisala Fortress, a medieval fortress built in the 13th century, which had a strategic role in defending the region against Ottoman invasions. The fortress was an important surveillance point over trade routes and offers a spectacular view of Lake Razim.

After the visit, we continue our route to Tulcea, the gateway to the Danube Delta. A city with a history dating back to antiquity, Tulcea was an important commercial center during the Roman period, known as Aegyssus. After checking in, we have free time for exploration, followed by a relaxing dinner.

 

 

Day 3: Danube Delta Excursion

After breakfast, we prepare for an unforgettable experience: a 3-hour cruise on the waters of the Delta. The route will take us through:

  • Canal 36 – one of the main navigable routes of the Delta
  • Canal Sireasa – known for its lush vegetation and diverse fauna
  • Lake Cotete – where we will observe colonies of cormorants, herons, egrets, and swans
  • Canal Sontea Veche – a perfect place for bird watching and natural landscapes
  • Lake Nebunu – famous for its biodiversity, being an essential habitat for migratory birds
  • Stop at La Scăunele Platform for a traditional fish lunch, with dishes specific to the Delta
  • Return to Tulcea via Canal Sontea and Canal 36

After the excursion, free time for relaxation or exploring the city, followed by dinner.

 

 

Day 4: Discovering Tulcea & return to Chișinău

After breakfast, we have free time to discover the charm of Tulcea. We can visit the Danube Delta Museum, where we will learn more about the unique ecosystem of this region, or we can walk along the Danube Promenade, an ideal place for relaxation and photos.

In the afternoon, we head back to Chișinău with unforgettable memories from an exceptional adventure.

 

Day 5: Arrival in Chișinău

We arrive home in the morning, between 01:00-03:00, depending on traffic and customs conditions.

  • If the client is alone and has not paid for a single room, they will be assigned to a room with another tourist. If there is no other single tourist, the client must pay extra for a single room.
