Egypt is one of the most beautiful exotic destinations you can choose for your holiday. No matter which part of the country you want to spend your holiday in, you have many ways to make it unique and memorable. Plus, no matter where you go, whether it's to the seaside, one of the cities or a more deserted area, you'll have plenty to see and plenty to do. From the Egyptian coastline, through Cairo and the Nile to the pyramids, Egypt is the perfect destination for a dream holiday.
Meet Egypt
Egyptian rest is something quite distinct. It envelops you in history, mythology and mystery. Each settlement has its own gods and legends, with outlets to the Mediterranean Sea to the north, and the Red Sea to the east. Egypt's shores are famous for their pristine water and high standard of service hotels.
It's no surprise, there are unique sights in Egypt that are part of the Seven Wonders of the World - the Pyramids!
The most important detail is that the tourist season in Egypt lasts 365 days, so you can buy a tour and come to Egypt in any season.
Climate
The climate is subtropical on the Mediterranean coast and in the Nile Delta with temperatures between 27 °C and 32 °C in summer and up to 43 °C on the Red Sea coast. In winter, temperatures vary between 13 °C and 23 °C. Precipitation is low and falls mainly in winter: 322 mm in Alexandria and only 160 mm in Cairo. South of the capital the climate is tropical-desert with almost no rainfall and high temperatures. Temperatures vary considerably in Egypt. It can be extremely hot during the day and cold at night, especially in the desert regions.
Tourism
Tourism in Egypt has something for everyone. To enjoy a bit of natural beauty, you can take a tour through the Nile or take deep-sea diving lessons. For history buffs, there's so much to offer. Don't forget to include the Pyramids of Giza and the Abu Simbel temples, which have huge rock carvings of famous pharaohs, in your Egypt tour itinerary.
Another Egyptian tourism favorite is the Museum of Ancient Egypt, a building that contains the largest collection of pharaonic artifacts in the world. Tourists often flock to the Great Sphinx, a figure popularized by movies and books over the years. No one knows exactly who built the Sphinx or why.
