Notes:

If a client is traveling alone and has not paid for a single room but has opted for shared accommodation (agreeing to share a room with another tourist), and if by the departure date the travel agency has no other similar clients who are also alone but have paid the standard price for sharing, the client is required to pay the supplement for a single room.

Itinerary

Day 1 (28.12.2024). Chișinău - Iași - Bacău - Onești - Brașov - Sibiu - Arad - Budapest (approx. 1200 km)

Meeting with the accompanying guide at 11:30 AM at the Circus parking lot in Chișinău for boarding the bus. Departure at 12:00 PM towards Budapest via the route: Chișinău - Iași - Bacău - Onești - Brașov - Sibiu - Arad - Budapest.

Day 2 (29.12.2024). Budapest

Arrival in the afternoon. Accommodation at Hotel Expo or similar in Budapest. Free time on your own. Recommended activities:

• Visit to the Szechenyi Thermal Baths - one of Budapest's largest tourist attractions, featuring several indoor and outdoor pools. The warmest outdoor pool maintains a water temperature of 38°C. The baths also offer massage services, and the mineral-rich water has healing properties.
• Individual visits in the city center.

Arrival in the afternoon. Accommodation at Hotel Atlantic or similar in Budapest. Free time at your own expense.

Day 3 (30.12.2024). Budapest – Vienna – Budapest (approx. 490 km)

Breakfast. Free time for individual visits in Budapest or an optional excursion (50 euros/person) to Vienna + Parndorf Outlet Village (many stores with discounts of up to 80%). City tour in Vienna by bus along the famous Ring: Museum of Contemporary Art, State Opera, Museum of Fine Arts, National History Museum, Hofburg Imperial Palace, Maria Theresa Square, City Hall, Parliament, etc. Walking tour in the historic center: Hofburg Palace, St. Stephen's Cathedral (Stephansdom), Vienna's central street – Ringstrasse, and the Burggarten with the statue of Mozart. Return to Budapest for accommodation at the same hotel.

Day 4 (31.12.2024). Budapest

Breakfast. Panoramic and walking tour in Budapest: Parliament Building, Citadel and Gellert Hill, Royal Palace, Fisherman's Bastion, Matthias Church, Heroes' Square, Chain Bridge, St. Stephen's Basilica, Budapest Opera. Return to accommodation. In the evening, prepare for the New Year's Eve celebration. Optional New Year's Eve Dinner (price to be communicated later). Happy New Year 2025!

Day 5 (01.01.2025). Budapest – Danube Bend: Esztergon, Visegrad, Szentendre (approx. 120 km)

Breakfast. Free time for individual visits in Budapest or an optional excursion with lunch included (50 euros/person) to the Danube Bend, visiting Esztergon, former capital of Hungary until 1241, where we will admire the Basilica, the largest church in Hungary and one of the most important in the world. In Visegrad, capital of Hungary in the 14th century, we will visit the medieval fortress. We conclude the excursion in Szentendre, an open-air museum of artists. Return to Budapest for accommodation at the same hotel. Evening optional Danube Cruise (25 euros/person).

Day 6 (02.01.2025). Budapest - Arad - Sibiu – Brașov – Onești – Bacău – Iași – Chișinău (approx. 1200 km)

Breakfast. Check-out. Depart for home around 12:00 PM.

Day 7 (03.01.2025). Budapest - Arad - Sibiu – Brașov – Onești – Bacău – Iași – Chișinău

Arrival home depending on weather conditions, traffic, and customs formalities.
