Notes:

If a client travels alone and has not paid the single room supplement but opted for room sharing, and if by the departure date the agency has no other tourists in the same situation, the client will be required to pay the single room supplement.

Program

Day 1. Chișinău – Iași – Bacău – Onești – Brașov – Sibiu – Arad – Budapest

Meeting with the tour leader at 11:30 at the Circus parking in Chișinău for boarding. Departure at 12:00 to Budapest along the route: Chișinău – Iași – Bacău – Onești – Brașov – Sibiu – Arad – Budapest.

Day 2. Budapest

Arrival around noon. Accommodation at Hotel Atlantic or similar in Budapest. Free time at your own leisure. Suggested activities:

• Visit the Széchenyi Thermal Baths – one of Budapest’s top attractions. The bath has indoor and outdoor pools, the hottest outdoor pool maintaining a constant temperature of 38°C. The waters are rich in minerals and known for their healing properties.
• Individual visits in the city center.

Day 3. Budapest

Breakfast. Panoramic and walking city tour of Budapest: Parliament, Citadel and Gellért Hill, Royal Palace, Fisherman’s Bastion, Matthias Church, Heroes’ Square, Chain Bridge, St. Stephen’s Basilica, Budapest Opera. Return to hotel. In the evening, prepare for the New Year’s Eve celebration. Optional: Danube Cruise + New Year’s Eve festive dinner. Happy New Year 2025!

Day 4. Budapest – Vienna – Budapest

Breakfast. Free time for individual visits in Budapest or optional excursion to Vienna + Parndorf Outlet Village (many shops with discounts up to 80%). City tour by coach along the famous Ringstrasse: Museum of Modern Art, State Opera, Museum of Fine Arts, National History Museum, Hofburg Imperial Palace, Maria Theresa Square, City Hall, Parliament. Walking tour in the historic center: Hofburg Palace, St. Stephen’s Cathedral (Stephansdom), Vienna’s central street – Ringstrasse. Burggarten Palace Garden with Mozart’s statue. Return to Budapest and overnight at the same hotel.

Day 5. Budapest – Arad – Sibiu – Brașov – Onești – Bacău – Iași – Chișinău (approx. 1200 km)

Breakfast. Check-out. Departure home.

Day 6. Budapest – Arad – Sibiu – Brașov – Onești – Bacău – Iași – Chișinău

Arrival home depending on weather, traffic, and border formalities.
