Itinerary

Day 1. Chișinău – Putna – Moldovița (approx. 400 km)

  • Meeting with the accompanying guide at 22:30, Circus Parking in Chișinău. Departure at 23:00 on the route: Chișinău – Putna – Moldovița.

 

Day 2. Putna – Moldovița

Arrival in Putna. We will visit the following tourist attractions:

  • Putna Monastery, participation in the liturgy.
  • Putna Hermitage, an Orthodox monastery of monks, from the Archdiocese of Suceava and Rădăuți.
  • The Cell of Daniel the Hermit, a cave dug into a rock on the valley of the Vițău stream, where the Venerable Daniel the Hermit lived as a hermit.
  • Marginea Monastery, which is a skete of the Putna Hermitage.
  • Sucevița Monastery, an Orthodox monastery built between 1583-1586 and located in the village of Sucevița.
  • Moldovița Monastery, one of the old monastic settlements, with an important and glorious historical past, located in the commune of Vatra Moldoviței.
  • On the way to accommodation, we will stop at a store to shop for dinner. Accommodation.

 

Day 3. Voroneț – Iași – Chișinău (approx. 400 km)

  • Participation in the Liturgy at Voroneț Monastery.
  • Humor Monastery, an Orthodox monastery in Romania, built in 1530 in the village of Humor.
  • St. George's Church in Suceava, also known as the Mirăuți Church, an Orthodox church built in the 14th century and then rebuilt in the 17th century in the city of Suceava.
  • St. John the New Monastery, an Orthodox monastery in Romania, built between 1514-1522 in the city of Suceava.
  • Departure for home.

 

Day 4

  • Arrival home between 01:00-06:00 depending on weather conditions, traffic, and customs formalities.
