Day 1: Chișinău – Vienna

Early in the morning, we meet at 08:30 at the Circus parking lot in Chișinău to board, and depart at 09:00 for Vienna. During the journey, we pass through Iași, Bacău, Onești, Brașov, Sibiu, and Arad. Arrival in Vienna is scheduled for the next day.

Day 2: Vienna

• Arrival in Vienna during the day.
• Accommodation at the hotel.
• Free time to explore the city or relax.
• Recommended sights during free time:

  • SISI Museum
  • The State Opera
  • Albertina Museum

Day 3: Vienna – Wolfgangsee Lake – Salzburg (optional)

Breakfast at the hotel, followed by departure to one of Austria's most spectacular regions – Salzkammergut, a fairytale area in the heart of the Alps.

The first stop is at Wolfgangsee Lake, a glacial lake of rare beauty, loved for centuries by tourists, romantics, and lovers.

On the lake shore we’ll visit St. Wolfgang, a picturesque town with traditional houses, narrow streets, and an authentic atmosphere—ideal for relaxation and memorable photos.

The Salzkammergut region is considered one of Austria's most beautiful mountain areas. With 76 glacial lakes, historic towns, castles, churches, and alpine landscapes, it combines nature, elegance, and tradition.

Next, we head to Salzburg, Mozart’s birthplace and a true Baroque architectural gem. We'll take a panoramic and walking tour with these sights:

• Mirabell Palace and Gardens – famous from “The Sound of Music”
• Getreidegasse – the famous pedestrian street with shops, restaurants, and historic buildings
• Hellbrunn Palace – known for its trick fountains and gardens
• Salzburg Cathedral – a symbol of Austrian Baroque architecture
• Hohensalzburg Fortress (exterior visit) – one of the best-preserved medieval fortresses in Europe

After the city tour, we return to Vienna in the evening for accommodation and rest.

Day 4: Vienna

After breakfast at the hotel, we take a fascinating walking tour in the heart of Vienna, following legends, personalities, and the city’s symbols.

• Griechengasse – known for the Griechenbeisl restaurant and the legend of “Lieber Augustin”.
• Bäckergasse – home to the famous Figlmüller restaurant, known for the original Viennese schnitzel.
• Dr. Ignaz-Seipel-Platz – an academic square with the University Aula and the Jesuit Church.
• Schönlaterngasse – a street linked to the basilisk legend, followed by the quaint Sonnenfelsgasse.
• Lugeck Square – where the Gutenberg statue stands.
• St. Stephen’s Cathedral – Vienna’s symbol; nearby are Domgasse (Mozart’s House), Blutgasse, and the Teutonic Order House.
• Anker Clock – designed by Franz Matsch in the Art Nouveau style. At 12:00, 12 historical figurines appear with music.

Free time to explore or relax.

In the afternoon, free time for museums, cafés, or shopping in the historic center.

Day 5: Vienna

After breakfast at the hotel, you will have free time in Vienna for walking, shopping, or lunch. Check-out is by 11:00 AM, after which we begin our journey back to Chișinău.

Day 6: Arrival in Chișinău depending on weather conditions, traffic, and border formalities.
