✈️ 09:50 — Departure to Milan (direct flight). Comfortable flight of 2 hours and 45 minutes.

🛬 11:35 — Landing at Milan Malpensa Airport (MXP). Passport control and baggage claim.

🚆 12:30 – 13:30 — Transfer to the city center (Stazione Centrale) by Malpensa Express or dedicated coach.

🚶 13:30 – 13:45 — Walk on foot (~11-12 minutes, 850 m) to Doria Grand Hotel 4★ (Viale Andrea Doria 22).

🏨 13:45 – 14:15 — Check-in and freshen up.

🍝 14:15 – 15:30 — Late lunch in the area: authentic pizza or pasta near the hotel.

🎄 15:30 – 21:00 — Milan on foot: Christmas atmosphere and shopping. Corso Buenos Aires, Piazza del Duomo, the illuminated Cathedral, the giant Christmas tree, and Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II. Optional: Italian Aperitivo in the Brera district.

📍 DAY 2 | Saturday, 12 December 2027: Fairytale Switzerland and the Bernina Express Train

🍳 07:15 – 08:20 — Breakfast at Doria Grand Hotel (Swedish buffet).

🚶/🚕 08:20 – 08:45 — Transfer to Piazza della Repubblica 5A (on foot ~25 min or by taxi 5-10 min / €10-15).

🚌 09:00 — Official departure from Milan by tourist coach through the winter landscapes of the Alps.

☕ 12:00 – 12:30 — Optional local coffee break.

🏔️ 13:00 – 15:05 — Free time in the famous resort of St. Moritz (Switzerland): pedestrian zone, frozen lake, Via Serlas, and the historic Hanselmann confectionery (since 1894).

🚂 15:05 — Mandatory arrival at St. Moritz Station (Track 6).

🎫 15:20 — Boarding the carriages. The train departs exactly on time and does not wait!

🌄 15:30 – 18:00 — Magical journey on the Bernina Express (UNESCO): Pontresina, Bernina Diavolezza, Ospizio Bernina (2,253 m – the highest point), Alp Grüm, and spectacular descent through Val Poschiavo.

🇮🇹 18:00 — Arrival at Tirano station (Italy). 15-minute transfer to the coach.

🚌 18:30 – 21:00 — Return journey to Milan. Arrival at Piazza della Repubblica ~21:00. Return to the hotel on foot or by taxi.

📍 DAY 3 | Sunday, 13 December 2027: Gothic Art and the Rooftop Terraces of Milan Cathedral

🍳 08:00 – 10:00 — Breakfast at the hotel.

🏰 10:00 – 14:15 — Relaxed morning at leisure: Sforza Castle, Sempione Park or shopping, followed by lunch.

🚶/🚕/🚇 14:15 – 15:05 — Transfer to Piazza del Duomo (on foot, by taxi or metro M3).

📍 15:05 — Mandatory arrival at Piazza del Duomo (P.za del Duomo, 20122) 25 minutes in advance.

🎧 15:20 — Meeting with the GetYourGuide guide, collection of audio headsets and ticket check.

⚡ 15:30 – 17:00 — Fast-Track Guided Tour: Duomo di Milano + Stone Terraces. Priority entrance, cathedral interior, stained-glass windows, archaeological area, and lift access to the terraces for a spectacular panoramic view.

🎄 17:00 – 19:30 — Duomo Museum, San Gottardo Church (tickets included) and the Christmas Market in the square: souvenirs, gifts, and traditional Panettone.

📍 DAY 4 | Monday, 14 December 2027: Goodbye, Milan!

🧳 Sunday evening — It is recommended to pack your luggage and check out at reception before departure.

🚶 22:45 – 23:10 — Walk on foot (11 minutes) to Milano Centrale Station.

🚆 23:25 — Departure of the LAST TRAIN Malpensa Express. ⚠️ Critical notice: the train does not wait! Journey of 1 hour and 15 minutes.

🛬 00:40 — Arrival at Milan Malpensa Airport (MXP).

🛂 02:20 — Opening of flight procedures (check-in 3 hours and 10 minutes before departure).

✈️ 05:30 — Departure to Chișinău (RMO). Arrival home in the morning.

⚠️ Alternative transport note: If a group of at least 10 people is formed, the Private Night Transfer by Coach is activated. In this case, tourists check out of their rooms and board directly from the hotel at 01:30, arriving at the airport at 02:20.

At Milan Cathedral (Duomo):

• Access with large backpacks, suitcases, bulky bags, large umbrellas, sharp objects, glass containers, and food is strictly prohibited.

• Security control similar to airports.

• Mandatory dress code: shoulders and knees must be fully covered. Hoods must be lowered inside.

Punctuality for transport:

• Trains (Italy & Switzerland) and coaches depart exactly on time and do not wait for late passengers. Being late results in missing the transport at your own expense.

🛂 Travel documents: Although Switzerland is part of the Schengen Area, it is not an EU member. You must have your passport or identity card in original with you (no copies, no photos on your phone).

💰 Customs restrictions: Goods for personal use are allowed. Cash amounts over €10,000 must be declared. Strict limits on tobacco (max. 250 cigarettes) and alcohol (max. 5 liters of low-alcohol beverages) per adult.

⚠️ CRITICAL ROAMING ALERT: Switzerland is NOT in the European Union. European roaming rates do NOT apply. Mobile internet costs are extremely high. Turn off mobile data before crossing the border to avoid bills of hundreds of euros!

💶 Currency and payments: In Italy – Euro (EUR), in Switzerland – Swiss Franc (CHF). For the 2.5 hours in St. Moritz it is not necessary to exchange cash. Shops and cafés accept cards (Visa/Mastercard) or Euro cash (change is given in francs at a less favorable rate).

🧥 Clothing and footwear: December. In Milan temperatures are moderate, but in St. Moritz and at Ospizio Bernina (2,253 m) it will be very cold, with snow and wind. Wear thick winter clothes (waterproof jacket, hat, scarf, gloves) and comfortable, warm, non-slip footwear.
