 On this day you can explore Budapest independently or join a full-day optional excursion to the Danube Gorge, a region full of scenic landscapes and history.
 

• Esztergom – spiritual capital of Hungary, with the largest cathedral in the country
  
• Visegrád – medieval fortress with panoramic views of the gorge
  
• Szentendre – artistic town with art galleries, souvenir shops, and picturesque streets
