Day 1*. Saturday. Departure to Barcelona (International flight).
Arrival in Barcelona on a regular flight of an international airline. Meet at Barcelona airport. Transfer and accommodation at the hotel. Free time.

Day 2. Sunday. Barcelona – Andorra
Breakfast. Departure to a small mountainous country located in the eastern Pyrenees, Andorra.
Accommodation at the hotel.
Free time for shopping in the capital, Andorra la Vella. Dinner at the hotel in the evening.
Day 3. Monday. Andorra – Alcañiz – Ainsa – Huesca
Breakfast. After breakfast, we will travel to the Aragonese Pyrenees, the heart of the mountainous country that separates Spain from the rest of Europe. Departure to Alcañiz. We will make a stop at the Torreciudad Sanctuary, located on a high rock. Next, we will follow the route through the valleys of the Esera and Cinca rivers to the picturesque medieval town of Ainsa. With the impressive panorama of the Lost Mountain as a backdrop, a UNESCO monument. After a walk, we will have lunch with traditional dishes and wines of the region. Arrival at the hotel and accommodation.
Day 4. Tuesday. Huesca – Olite – Pamplona
Breakfast. After breakfast, we will continue to explore the Pyrenees, where in the Middle Ages the kingdoms of Aragon and Navarra were formed. The first stop will be at the 11th-century Loarre Castle, one of the most impressive examples of military and civil architecture in the Romanesque style in Spain and the best-preserved Romanesque castle in Europe. We will continue our journey through the valleys of the Pyrenees to the ancient capital of the kingdom of Navarra – Olite, where we will see one of the most romantic castles in Spain. Then we head to the modern capital of Navarra – Pamplona, where we will take a walk through the old part of the city, see the famous Estafeta street, where during the San Fermín festival, volunteers run in front of the bull herd, as vividly described by Hemingway in his works. Accommodation at the hotel and dinner.
Day 5. Wednesday. Pamplona – La Rioja – Vitoria
Breakfast.
Discover the recognized wine kingdom of Spain at the Wine Culture Museum and the wine cellars of one of the most famous wine families in Spain – Vivanco. Wine tasting.
We will continue the journey along the La Rioja wine route to the town of Laguardia, an ancient fortress on a high hill, known for its wine cellars. Continue to Vitoria, recognized as the greenest city in Europe in 2012.
Walk upon arrival and accommodation at the hotel.
Day 6. Thursday. Vitoria – Somaya – Getaria – San Sebastián – Biarritz
Breakfast. After breakfast, we will travel along the interesting and little-known coast of Spain, the Costa Vasca. On the way, we will stop in small fishing towns such as Getaria and Somaya. Getaria, located on a peninsula resembling a mouse, is the birthplace of Juan Sebastián Elcano, the captain who completed Magellan's first circumnavigation of the world. In Somaya, we will enjoy an unusual geological monument - the Flysch Cliff. Then we will continue to San Sebastián, often called "Little Paris," the center of the Gipuzkoa province in the Basque Country. City walk. Free time. Departure to France, to the Biarritz area, accommodation at the hotel.
Day 7. Friday. Biarritz – Saint-Jean-de-Luz – Barcelona
Breakfast. Excursion to Biarritz - a world-famous resort associated with the names of Chekhov, Nabokov, and Shalyapin. We will see the Russian church of St. Alexander Nevsky, the casino, palaces, and villas above the luxurious beaches. After the tour of Biarritz, we will head to Saint-Jean-de-Luz, an old fishing town transformed into a prestigious resort. The town is famous because in 1660, in the Church of St. John the Baptist, the future king - the Sun King Louis XIV and the Spanish infanta Maria Teresa had their wedding.

Day 8. Saturday. Departure from Barcelona (International flight)
Breakfast. Check-out by 10:00 AM. Group transfer to Barcelona airport. End of the tour.
