Varna – Aladzha Monastery – Cape Kaliakra – Balchik

We invite you on a captivating excursion to one of the most picturesque and culturally rich cities in Bulgaria — Varna. During one day, you will discover the main attractions of the city, immerse yourself in the atmosphere of ancient history, and enjoy the beauty of nature.

Departure place and time:

Excursion program:

Day 1:

• 20:00 – Departure from Chișinău

Day 2: Balchik

Arrival around noon, hotel check-in (international standard check-in – 14:00), and lunch.

Departure to the city of Varna – walking tour.

Included in the excursion program:

• Primorski Park – the largest and most beautiful park in Varna, stretching along the seashore. A walk among fountains, sculptures, and green alleys with views of the Black Sea.
• Dormition of the Mother of God Cathedral – one of the most important Orthodox churches in the city, impressive for its architecture and unique stained-glass windows.
• Roman Baths – mysterious ruins of ancient Roman baths offering a glimpse into Varna’s rich past as a Roman settlement.
• Varna Archaeological Museum – a treasure trove of historical artifacts, including rare pieces from the Bronze Age and Antiquity.

Optional: visit to the Retro Car Museum, where you will discover a fascinating collection of classic cars and the atmosphere of past eras.

Afterwards, we visit the Aladzha Rock Monastery – a unique medieval monastery carved into a cliff 40 meters high. A mysterious atmosphere with impressive legends about frescoes and catacombs.

We continue to Cape Kaliakra – a spectacular promontory with the ruins of an ancient fortress stretching 2 km into the Black Sea. A place steeped in history, including battles from the Russo-Turkish war.

Day 3: Relaxation and Balchik

• Breakfast and free time at the resort
• Lunch

In Balchik you will discover:

• Botanical Gardens and the Palace of Queen Marie – a place where nature and history blend harmoniously.
• Dinner and free time

Day 4:

• Breakfast
• Departure home

Arrival home in the evening.

If a client is traveling alone and does not pay the single room supplement but agrees to share with another tourist, and the agency cannot find a roommate by the departure date, the client will have to pay the single room supplement.
