TOUR DESCRIPTION

We propose a new destination - House of the Olar + House of Honey.
We will visit the place where the mysteries of beekeepers are open to tourists - the Honey House in Calarasi. 63 km from Chisinau in the village of Răciula, Călărași district is the Stigarescu family's farm, who will welcome us with open arms. A small kingdom of bees and a place that attracts lovers of sweets, the garden is full of beehives and the house looks like a museum of honey. The hosts will give us a tour of the mysteries of honey production and explain the medical effects of its precious products: honey, pollen, wax and propolis.
The Craft Centre preserves, promotes and gives us numerous masterclasses showing the traditional pottery art of this village for hundreds of years, which until the establishment of the centre was doomed to disappear, which will take place in the House of the Hive. Hosting an international fair. Production workshop, exhibition and sale. There we will also have a cosy lunch with wonderful views.

Did you know that?

• At the "Honey House", also called the "Bee Museum", visitors can watch a family of bees at work, without being stung, through the glass walls of a hive.
