Where was the ancient city of Olhionia located? Where was the enigmatic Metonium, a city so well known to ancient historians and geographers? Why did the French scholar from the Sorbonne choose to study with his students the geological wonder - the granite thresholds of Cosăuți? Many enigmas and mysteries of our history hide the landscape in the north of the Republic of Moldova...

During the itinerary we will learn the history of ancient cities, located on the territory of Moldovan land, we will hear the history of Soroca fortress, part of the defensive system of the Moldovan State. At the "Candle of Gratitude" we will say a word of thanks to our ancestors, who worked for centuries to leave us invaluable material and spiritual values;

On the Sorocii hill we will admire the palatial houses of the Moldovan Roma; at Cosăuți we will delve into the Paleolithic to learn the way of life of the ancient ancestors, who lived in the resort here, we will worship at the Cosăuți monastery, located on the bank of the Dniester in a picturesque setting, we will drink water from the spring with health-giving water;

Arrival in Soroca, excursion through :

• Monastic hermitage "Bechir" (VII-IX century) (from outside, from a distance - due to difficulty)
• Geological and Paleontological Nature Monument "Bechir Ravine"
• Monument "Candle of Thanksgiving" in Soroca
• Soroca Fortress (1543 - 1545)
• Roma Hill

Cosăuți

• Workshops under the open sky of the Cosauti stonemasons
• Monument of the Paleolithic Station of Cosăuți
• Cosăuți Monastery dedicated to the Mother of God
