1st day

  • 12:00 Departure on the route Chisinau-Iasi-Belgrade

2nd day

  • Panoramic tour of the capital of Serbia, situated on the two international waters, at the confluence of the Sava and Danube rivers, in the Pannonian Plain. We will discover Skadarlija - bohemian district in the old centre, also called Montmarte of Belgrade, Terajije - the main boulevard of the capital, the pedestrian street Knez Mihailova, the Parliament, the Old Palace (outside) - the royal palace of the Obrenovic dynasty, Kalemegdan Fortress. Visit the Cathedral of St. Sava - the symbol of Serbian religion.

Day 3

Belgrade - Sarajevo

  • We start our journey to Sarajevo, the capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina. A pedestrian walk through the old centre takes us through the history of the Balkans - Gazi Husrev Bay - the mosque, the Roman Catholic Cathedral, the New and Old Serbian Church and the Jewish Temple coexist peacefully in the same perimeter.

Day 4

Sarajevo - Mostar - Kravice Falls - Medjugorje

  • Breakfast.
  • We start early in the morning to Mostar - a picturesque town, famous for the Stone Bridge built during the time of Sultan Suleiman the Magnificent. Rebuilt after the Bosnian war, it is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Unguided walking tour.
  • Visit the Kravice Waterfall - also known as Little Niagara.
  • Accommodation in 3* hotel in Medjugorje.

5th day

Medjugorje - Dubrovnik - Podgorica

Breakfast.

  • We embark early in the morning for Dubrovnik - the pearl of the Adriatic Sea - a UNESCO World Heritage city since 1979. We visit the Old Town - full of splendid architectural buildings with marble streets, the Pile Gate, the pharmacy of the Franciscan Monastery, the Sponza and Rector palaces together with the Clock Tower.
  • We leave Dubrovnik behind and travel to Podgorica - the capital of Montenegro, where we take a walk through the historic centre.
  • Accommodation in 3* hotel in Podgorica.

Day 6 Podgorica-Tirana

  • Breakfast
  • Walk through the historical centre of Podgorica (without guide)
  • We travel to Tirana - the capital and the largest city in the country: we visit Skanderbeg Square, where you will see the statue of Skanderbeg - the national hero of Albania, the Clock Tower (35 meters high), Ethem Bey Mosque - featuring frescoes with trees, waterfalls and rare bridges for Islamic art, the National Library and the National Museum of History.

Day 7 Tirana-Ohrid-Skopje

  • Breakfast
  • Short stopover in Ohrid - situated on the shores of the lake of the same name, the city of Ohrid is one of the oldest settlements in Europe. Built mainly between the 7th and 19th centuries, Ohrid has the oldest Slavic church (St. Panteleimon) and over 800 Byzantine icons. After the collection of icons in the Tretyakov Galleries in Moscow, this collection is considered to be the second most important collection of icons in the world.
  • We continue our journey to Macedonia and arrive in the afternoon in Skopje - the capital - and discover the historic centre on a walking tour - the Theatre, the Archaeological Museum, Macedonia Square, the Triumphal Arch, Mother Teresa's House.
  • Hotel accommodation in Skopje.

Day 8 Skopje-Sofia-Chisinau

  • Visit the city situated on the banks of the Vardar-Skopje river: Old Bazaar, Stone Bridge and Mustafa Pasha Mosque.
  • Short stopover in Bulgaria's capital - Sofia; visit Alexander Nevsky Cathedral
  • Departure on the Iasi-Chisinau route

  • Arrival in Chisinau after lunch
