The Haric Fire is considered by Orthodox Christians to be a miracle that happens every year at the Church of the Holy Sepulchre in Jerusalem on Holy Saturday, the day before Orthodox Easter. Many consider it the oldest attested annual miracle of the Christian world.

Travel Programme

The programme lasts 5 days, from 11 April to 15 April.

On TUESDAY, 11 April, we arrive by plane in Jerusalem, the ancient city of Lydda, the homeland of St. George the Victorious. There we visit the Church of St. George and then travel to Bethlehem, the city where Jesus Christ was born.

ON WEDNESDAY we visit Mount Tabor, Nazareth, Capernaum and Cana of Galilee.

On TUESDAY we have breakfast and go to the Lavra of Cousin Theodosius the Great, the Lavra of Cousin Saviour the Holy, visit the Mount of Temptation and the Jordan River: the place of the Baptism of Jesus Christ. Diving in the waters of the Jordan, and many other activities!

MARCH FRIDAY we spend in Jerusalem, at the Mount of Olives, the Greek Monastery of the Ascension of the Lord "Pantocrator" and the Place of the Ascension of our Lord, the footsteps of His feet.

On GREAT WEDNESDAY there will be the welcoming of the Holy Light at the Jaffa Gate of the city of Jerusalem.
