Program:

Day 1. Flight to Baku (International flight).

Arrival in Baku in the morning on a regular flight of one of the international airlines. After completing formalities and collecting luggage at Heydar Aliyev Airport, you will be met by a representative of our company.

Here begins our fascinating journey through the historical part of Old Baku – Icheri Sheher. During the tour, we will make a stop for breakfast or lunch (payment on your own) depending on your arrival time at the airport.

If a city has an old town, it has a heart. And no matter how a metropolis builds and grows, in this small piece of antiquity, like in the roots of a tree, lies the entire crown of history. The historical complex includes many architectural monuments that have survived to this day: mosques, towers, churches, squares, and other important buildings from the times of Shah rule. We will visit the palace complex of the Shirvanshahs (15th century), the Maiden Tower (12th century) – the oldest symbol of the city of Baku, the Miniature Book Museum - the world's only museum of miniature books located on one of the streets of the Old City (Icheri Sheher) in Baku. All books are smaller than a palm. The size of many editions is no more than 1 centimeter, and the "area" of the smallest book in the collection is 2x2 millimeters. Then we will head to Ali Shamsi's workshop. We will stroll along Kichik Gala Street, see a 90-year-old tree with three female faces, take a photo with a lion on the facade of the workshop, admire the paintings of Ali Shamsi, talk to the master, and take a photo with him as a keepsake.

After that, we will take a walk along the Primorsky Boulevard and a boat trip (depending on weather conditions). The boulevard itself is extraordinarily beautiful and diverse. Its central part impresses with the richness of greenery and flowers, and the steps of the coastal strip end right at the sea water.

Next, we will visit the Carpet Museum. The shape of the museum resembles a rolled carpet. It is a kind of fabulous place promising you a journey through time, full of delights.

The museum showcases Azerbaijan's carpet culture over the centuries. Here you can learn about the history of carpet weaving in Azerbaijan, production technologies, and the symbolism of patterns, as well as enjoy the beauty and sophistication of each exhibit. We will visit Highland Park, which offers a beautiful view of the city. We will see Flame Towers – a triple skyscraper complex, which is one of the most recognizable elements of Baku's skyline and has become its symbol of progress and modernity.

Check-in at the hotel. Night at a hotel in Baku.

Day 2. Gobustan

In the morning after breakfast, we head to Gobustan, located 70 km from Baku. Gobustan is known for its ancient petroglyphs – stone drawings dating back to 12 thousand years ago. It is one of the oldest places on Earth where images of ancient hunters, animals, and ritual scenes have been preserved.
In Gobustan, there are amazing mud volcanoes, which are one of the most unique natural attractions in the region. These volcanoes erupt hot and viscous mud streams, creating impressive landscapes and forming mud craters. This unusual phenomenon attracts many tourists and nature lovers who come to see this amazing natural spectacle and experience its thermal properties. Mud volcanoes in Gobustan are a source of wonder and delight created by nature.

Return to the hotel. Free time. Night at a hotel in Baku.

Day 3. Absheron.

Breakfast at the hotel. Today, we will embark on a tour of Absheron, covering three historical sites. We will explore ancient domestic and ethnographic traditions at the Gala Open-Air Museum. During the tour, we will see the quadrangular tower, one of the ancient towers of Absheron, located in the village of Mardakan.

We will also learn about the legends of the Ateshgah Temple and the Burning Mountain, as well as the nearby streams.

We will visit Ateshgah (Fire Temple) – the first major settlement of believers in Azerbaijan from the 2nd century. Ateshgah, often called the "Fire Temple of Baku," is a castle-like religious temple in the town of Surakhani, a suburb of Baku. According to Persian and Indian inscriptions, the temple was used as a place of worship by Hindus, Sikhs, and Zoroastrians.

Next, we will visit Yanar Dag (Burning Mountain) – one of the most incredible natural attractions of the Absheron Peninsula. It is a mountainous hill that cannot be extinguished by rain or sand. And it has been burning for several thousand years. The frightening yet mesmerizing fiery landscape is actually quite simple to explain: natural gas seeps from the upper layers of the soil, which, upon contact with oxygen, ignites into flames.

At the end of the tour, we will visit the Heydar Aliyev Cultural Center. We will acquaint ourselves with a masterpiece of modern architecture and a symbol of the cultural renaissance of the nation. We will learn about the futuristic project by the renowned architect Zaha Hadid, which in 2014 received the "Design of the Year" award and was recognized as the best building in the world.
