Note: If travelers arrive earlier than Saturday or extend their stay after the tour, group transfers are not included. A private transfer must be booked, with pricing available upon request and depending on the hotel’s location.
Day 1. Saturday. Departure to Barcelona (International flight)
Arrival in Madrid. After completing formalities and collecting luggage, meet with a representative of our company. Transfer to the hotel and check-in.
Note: Hotel check-in is available from 15:00 on Saturday. The tour program starts on Sunday.
Day 2. Sunday. Madrid – Burgos – Pamplona
Breakfast. Departure to Burgos, the capital of the medieval Kingdom of Castile. Walking tour through the historic center, including an external view of Burgos Cathedral and a visit to the Carthusian Monastery. Continue to Pamplona, the capital of Navarre, famous for the San Fermín festival dedicated to bullfighting. City tour, featuring Ernest Hemingway’s iconic locations from his novel The Sun Also Rises (Estafeta Street, the Bullring, Castle Square).

Day 3. Monday. Pamplona – San Sebastian – Bilbao – Santander
Breakfast. Transfer to San Sebastian, a resort city and the venue for the famous film festival. City tour, including a visit to Mount Igueldo for breathtaking views of the city and La Concha Beach. In the afternoon, travel to Bilbao, the largest city and port of the Basque Country, showcasing its transformation from an industrial hub to a vibrant modern city. Sightseeing tour with a stop at the Guggenheim Museum of Contemporary Art. Continue to Santander, the capital of Cantabria.

Day 4. Tuesday. Santander – Santillana del Mar – Comillas – Covadonga – Oviedo
Breakfast. Begin with a panoramic bus tour of Santander, followed by a stroll through the scenic Magdalena Peninsula Park, home to the summer palace of Spanish kings from the 19th century. Continue to Santillana del Mar, a perfectly preserved medieval town designated as a national heritage site. Next, visit Comillas to admire its modernist architecture, including Gaudí’s famous “El Capricho” (The Caprice). Proceed to Covadonga, a memorial and sanctuary marking the origins of the Reconquista. Visit the Basilica and the Holy Cave before heading to Oviedo. Check-in at the hotel.
Day 5. Wednesday. Oviedo – La Coruña – Santiago de Compostela
Breakfast. Take a short walk through the historic center of Oviedo, the capital of Asturias and the birthplace of modern Spanish statehood. Oviedo is also the starting point of the pilgrimage to Santiago de Compostela. Depart for La Coruña, a port city in Galicia, where we’ll stop at the Tower of Hercules, the world’s oldest operational lighthouse. End the day in Santiago de Compostela, home to the Cathedral housing the relics of Saint James, a major pilgrimage destination. Check-in at the hotel.
Day 6. Thursday. Santiago de Compostela – Astorga – Segovia
Breakfast. Depart for Astorga, a monumental city dating back to Roman times. Visit the grand Episcopal Palace designed by Antoni Gaudí, a hallmark of the city, which is also known for its chocolate production. Continue to Segovia, one of the most important historic cities of medieval Castile. Explore the iconic Alcazar Castle, central to Castilian history, and the impressive Roman Aqueduct, one of the city's symbols. Check-in at the hotel.
Day 7. Friday. Segovia – Madrid
Breakfast. Travel to Madrid for a comprehensive city tour, combining bus and walking segments. Drive along the iconic boulevards of Prado and Recoletos, see the famous Cibeles Fountain and Alcalá Street, and stop at Columbus Square. Discover the bustling Gran Vía, Spain Square, and explore the historical Madrid of the Austrians, including landmarks like the Royal Palace and Puerta del Sol. Enjoy free time to visit the Prado Museum or Thyssen Museum (optional, tickets not included). Check-in at the hotel.
Day 8. Saturday. Departure from Madrid (International flight)
Breakfast. Transfer to Madrid airport. End of the tour.
